THE BLUE LAGOON (aka. Bláa lónið)
The Blue Lagoon (not to be confused with the 1980 film starring Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins) could easily be the most photographed place in all of Iceland. Chances are you’ve gazed longingly at some of those beautiful images floating around on tumblr, just like I did. I got curious and wanted to find out a little bit more about this peculiar place which the locals call Bláa lónið:
